KOTA TINGGI WATERFALL

Located in the southern state of Johor, the Kota Tinggi Waterfall is one of the most natural falls in the country. It is situated about 60km away from the state capital, Johor Bahru while is very near to Kota Tinggi, a major town of the state.
Taking only about a 15 minutes drive from Kota Tinggi, the waterfall starts from the peak of Mount Panti and is 36 meters high.
If you like nature and lush vegetation, then this is quite the ideal place to go. You can enjoy a cool dip at the base of the waterfalls and is a renowned place for families who come here for picnics and gatherings. Because it is one of the most easily accessible places of recreation in the state, it can get very crowded at peak seasons, particularly on weekends.
From far, you can also view Gunung Muntahak while enjoying the cool waters of the falls here. To get here, you would only need to come to Kota Tinggi and there will be road signs leading you here. There are some nice Swiss designed chalets which are complete with cooking facilities. Meanwhile, if you like to camp here, you can also do so as there are campsites as well as public changing rooms too.
